My stay at Laguna Beach Alya Resort and Spa was a mixed bag. On the one hand, the cleanliness was impeccable and I appreciated the hard work of the staff. On the other hand, the dining options were repetitive and lacked variety, especially for a hotel of this caliber. The pool was enjoyable, but I found the all-inclusive drink selections quite limited. Overall, it was an adequate experience but not what I expected from a so-called 5-star hotel.
